Our reunion activities started in Ocean City, Maryland on July 7, 2006 with Mel’s family from California, Nini’s family from Maryland, Telly from New York and Rudy and Allyn from Virginia. We enjoyed boogie-boarding in the beach, an hour of jet-skiing, building sand castles, eating boardwalk fries,
pasyal in the boardwalk while enjoying Fisher’s popcorn and funnel cakes,
and some shopping at the outlet stores in Delaware. Rudy and Telly even
found time to go for 2 rounds of golf.

The drive back to Virginia in the midst of rush hour traffic and thunderstorms was alleviated with a hearty dinner prepared by Beng and Mommy in Burke, Virginia. Mel especially requested ‘callos’ even before flying to the east coast from California. Mommy also cooked ‘Molo Soup,’Nini’s request.

On Thursday, July 13 we were all together again for dinner at the Rotonda (Rudy & Allyn's condo). Telly bought us Ralph Lauren t-shirts with each
family choosing a color. The family picture says it all.

We praise and thank the Lord. We feel so blessed for the reunion experience. We have not been together as one big family since 1976 – that’s 30 years ago!
